Recently I’ve been using variations of a training system called Power, Rep Range, Shock (aka P/RR/S) which was created by natural bodybuilder, fitness model, author and trainer, Eric Broser. Before going further I want to thank Eric for giving me permission to write about his excellent training system!
I have actually known about P/RR/S for several years via a variety of interviews and articles. However, more recently I decided to purchase Eric’s Power, Rep Range, Shock DVD so I could see the subtleties of his system in action. I then took the basic principles of P/RR/S and put together several different variations on the system, which I have been currently using with great success!
What a weekend in the IFBB for the Men's Physique Division. Nearly 40 IFBB MP Pro's hit the stage looking to take home the big prize of first place and an automatic bid to compete on the Olympia stage. When the dust had settled, Jason Poston walked away with that much coveted 1st place. Michael Anderson grabbed second while Denis Gusev snagged third. Here are the official results from a hard fought battle in Dallas this weekend at the Europa Supershow.
This weekend marked the second largest turnout of IFBB Men's Physique Pro's on a single stage. Thirty four of the top physiques in the world took to the boards under the lights with the goal of earning the title "IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Men's Physique Champion."
While working to defend his 2013 title this year, Mark Anthony Wingson, had a ton of incredible competition. Looking at the line-up from top to bottom, there are no weak physiques. All of the men that showed up had the potential to place very well. That said, those that were knocking at the door and most noticeably threating to take the crown were Jason Poston and Michael Anderson whom both came into the show in incredible shape and with impeccable conditioning.
In the end, Mark Anthony was able to defend his title. Jason Poston and Michael Anderson finished second and third respectively while Anton Antipov and Tyler Anderson grabbed fourth and fifth to round out the top five.

For most folks, cardio is a dreaded word that means thirty to sixty minutes-plus each day on some piece of gym equipment slowly building up a good old-fashioned sweat. At the end of the session, when the time expires, you’re left wondering if you really melted away some of that fat that has covered up your striated and ripped appearance since your last show.
