OFF SEASON…THE DOUBLE EDGED SWORD

offseasonWhen we are in the final weeks of our contest preparation, how often do we say, “I can’t wait till off season!”  After a belly busting binge for a day or 2…it’s here. Now what?


This is a hard transition for most of us to get our head around. Our tight contest ripped bodies start to diminish, clothes don’t fit the same and confidence goes south. All the hard work of 16 weeks can be gone in a matter of a few days if you don’t  have a solid plan.


Do you have a plan? What do you want to achieve this off season? This really needs to be determined BEFORE your contest prep is over. Off season isn’t a time to sit idle and get fat. It’s time to improve. Enjoy the things in life you ignore when you have your game face on. Sometimes it takes a couple seasons to learn how to transition, sometimes the hard way. ( gaining to much fat!)


Figure, fitness, bikini & bodybuilding are a year round life style. You don’t trade chicken breast and broccoli for bon bons and cheese doodles when the contest is over. The improvements you make are up to you….
