Poetry In Motion: The Continuing Story Of The Exotic Beauty Dina Al-Sabah

DSC_0035DSC_0009If you have been a fan of the sport of Figure since it's inception, the name of Dina Al-Sabah should evoke visions of exotic beauty, impeccable physique lines, a contagious smile and uncanny sex appeal.

Originally from Kuwait, Dina first broke into the NPC  spotlight about seven years ago.  In her first few years of competing as a Figure Athlete, Dina won just about all of the major NPC Regional National competitions from coast to coast.  She was simply "that good".  However, Dina was caught in a dilemma. Since she was not a U.S. Citizen and was not eligible to compete in National U.S. shows that offered an  IFBB Pro Card.

Considering her impressive competition resume and her citizenship situation, Dina was granted IFBB status.  In the IFBB Pro Division, she won the Jan Tana Figure Pro and graced the Olympia stage in 2003 & 2004.

DSC_0078DSC_0122Dina made her return to the IFBB stage this past Spring in the new IFBB Bikini Division after taking several years off from competing to concentrate on her business ventures.  She earned an impressive fifth place in the IFBB Jacksonville Pro last month and continues to make improvements in her physique.  Next up for Dina is this weekend at the Culver City Pro Bikini Tournament of Champions.   This gorgeous and exotic Bikini Pro is on a quest to earn a coveted Bikini Olympia qualification.

This past weekend, the prestigious management group "FMG" signed IFBB Bombshell Bikini Pro Dina Al-Sabah to an exclusive management contract. Dina is thrilled with the opportunity to be managed by the industry giant.

I had the opportunity to photograph Dina last weekend in Daytona Beach FL, and I must say, I now know why this striking woman has graced the covers of several industry leading magazines and is a favorite among the top photographers in the sport.   In front of the camera Dina comes to life.  It could best be described using the old cliche "poetry in motion".

Don't be surprised to see Dina in the top three at this weekends event where she attempts to qualify for her return to the Olympia Stage.
