Ed Nunn Dominates Field at 2011 IFBB Tijuana Pro!

Ed Nunn avenged his 2nd place, close call, finish behind Toney Freeman at the 2011 Europa Super Show and his 3rd place performance at the 2011 Phoenix Pro (behind Troy Alves and Hide Yamagishi) by winning the 2011 IFBB Phoenix Pro with unanimous first place votes. Nunn packed the most symmetrical physique of the night with arguably the best conditioning of the field. Despite being 40 years old, Nunn seems to be improving at every outing. If this guy adds another 5-7lb in the offseason, watch out for him to do some serious damage in the 2012 season.

The only other competitor in this south-of-the-border lineup to rival Nunn’s total package was the much-improved Marcus Haley (2nd), who also displayed the best rendition of his physique that we’ve seen to date. Haley’s 10lbs of added muscle and shrink-wrapped conditioning has him breaming with confidence going into next week’s Mr Olympia contest.

Finishing a solid 3rd was Poland’s Robert Piotrkowicz who’s freaky muscularity and super grainy conditioning helped him to trump the more symmetrical New Zealander Moe Elmousawwi (4th) and earn him a trip to next week’s Mr Olympia contest.   Finishing in 5th was Spain’s Alfonso Del Rio who, arguably, had the freakiest amount of sheer muscle mass onstage. If this guy had a slightly better structure, he’d be as dangerous as a heart attack!

Italy’s Daniele Seccarecci, who possesses oodles of symmetrical muscle, had to settle for 6th, while super freak Robert Burneika finished in 7th, Will Harris received 8th, and Abbas Khatami dropped to 9th.
