How has your life changed since you adopted this lifestyle and started competing? I've always been an athlete in many sports. It came very natural to push myself to the extreme. This sport has taught me a lot about myself. During my years of prepping I found out how hard it is for me to diet with suffering from PCOS and multiple food allergies. Not hard to do,  but how my body responded. It's all about trial and error. This sport has taught me discipline.  It gave me hope that I can do whatever I put my mind too. I live and breathe this lifestyle.  If it was not for this sport I'm not sure the direction I would have taken in life or the condition my health would be in. It saved me.

What have you found to be the best way to balance family, friends, career, this lifestyle, etc…

That is my true struggle because I am so dedicated to competing, I tend to put that first. I am however, extremely blessed to have a family who supports me and friends that except my craziness. Most of my closest friends are my coworkers who are so unbelievably supportive (even though they do give me a hard time).  My career goes hand in hand with my lifestyle. I'm a personal trainer and I have the best clients. They are amazing!

If you could change places with one competitor for the day who would it be and why?

Dana Linn Bailey or Adela Garcia. They always look so happy!! Their work ethic is extreme and I love the intensity they bring! They truly work their asses off. To me it's all about being an athlete and that's what they are.

Name two of the most inspirational people in your life and tell why they inspire you.

My mom without a doubt. No matter what's going on in her life she always makes time for everything including my two brothers and I. She's always helping me even when she doesn't have too. I don't know how she does it or why.. but I'm grateful.

My coach Matt. He caters to his athletes. I do not have to think about anything but putting in hard work! He texts me every morning with my workouts when I don't see him and when I do he kicks my butt! I've never worked so hard! He listens to all my complaining and makes changes that are needed to my diet. He managed to figure me out when nobody could with all my health issues! He talked to doctors and did research. It blew my mind to have someone care so much. He does so much for everyone no matter what he is going through personally. My favorite part of my day is going to see Matt. He made this prep easy for me. I couldn't have done it without him!

Tell one recipe or supplement you can’t live without.image(4)

Easy! My aminos! I live off aminos! I drink jugs of it daily!

My favorite recipe is my first meal, oats mixed with liquid egg whites and sugar free peanut butter syrup.. Tastes like pudding!!

Tell about a typical training day for you.  What exercises, how many sets/reps…etc…

That changes day to day. I honestly am lucky my coach texts me every single morning with my workouts. The exact exercise reps and sets! It's awesome. I just need to put in the work!

In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to?

So many people!  My family, especially my mom and dad for all they do to help me and support me. My friends, clients and coworkers.. Thank you for dealing with my craziness!! And my coach and now closest friend Matt! Words cannot describe how truly grateful I am for all you have done for me. You changed my life!!
