How has your life changed since you adopted this lifestyle and started competphoto 1ing? My life has changed because I am way more disciplined than ever and it has made me stronger in almost every other aspect in my life! When you are strong it reflects in all aspects of your life.

What have you found to be the best way to balance family, friends, career, this lifestyle, etc… I have learned to balance this lifestyle along with friends work and family by surrounding myself with friends that are like minded and lift me up. Actually competing and this lifestyle has helped me be more organized and successful in my past jobs and my career. Balancing family becomes easy once they understand why I am doing what I am doing. They even come to me for advice now!:) To find balance it truly helps to know exactly why you are doing all of this in the first place. Once you have figured that out then the rest follows. Surround yourself with positive like minded people and family will always be there and they will understand eventually.

If you could change places with one competitor for the day who would it be and why? If I could change places with one competitor for the  day it would have to be Candice Keene. Just because I really like her as a competitor. And not to mention she is at the top which is what she has worked so hard for. She seems to just be herself and enjoying the sport and just having fun with it! That’s the way it should be. And she seems to live a healthy lifestyle. A lot of girls aren’t so healthy. She is on top of the world and I would like to be the kind of example she is. I want to enjoy this sport to the fullest and help inspire others in the exact same way she does.

Name two of the most inspirational people in your life and tell why they inspire you. The first one is my fiance Chris Schaub, being a cancer survivor and back at competing when he thought he never would again... he was determined. No matter what he keeps going. There are a lot of days that just watching him go keeps me going. He inspires me because no matter the task he always goes for it and he never doubts himself or even me. Even with the recent passing of his father and all his travel for work he still manages to run another business and compete. He gets it done no matter what! The second person is a top competitior in this industry of which I do not want to mention the name of right now. Later on I can release the name. Anyways I was her workout partner when she got her big break in the figure world. She inspires me because I have literally watched her go to the top without the politics and doing the things that a lot of other girls have done to get up to the top level. I have no respect for that! This person did it all on her own and I watched her. She is why I am so determined to reach the top myself. Because I know it can be done without all of the other stuff. She is the true vision of health!

Tell one recipe or supplement you can’t live without. One supplement I cannot live without is my Visalus Go Drink for my pre workout! Its an all natural energy drink. I like to staphoto 4y as natural as possible on supplements.

Tell about a typical training day for you.  What exercises, how many sets/reps…etc… Typical training day for me… I like to mix it up! But my favorite training days are leg or shoulder days! For legs I would do Plyos or supersets. Plyo routine

Jump squats 20-25 reps- jump lunges 20-25 reps, step ups 20-25 reps each leg, star jumps 20-25 reps, single leg squats 50 reps each leg, sumo squats 20-25 4 sets each.

In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to? My loving and supportive fiance Chris Schaub and my coaches and good friends Yolanda Alvarado and Luis H. Santa
