Michal Krizo Reveals Insane Conditioning 10 Days Out

Ten days out from making his second consecutive appearance on the Mr. Olympia stage, dark horse contender, Michal Krizo, is beginning to generate excitement as a potential dark horse contender to place inside the top six at this year’s contest.

Krizo, who placed 12th in his debut Olympia performance last year, has garnered widespread acclaim from fans and bodybuilding pundits alike for the dramatic improvements that he’s made to his physique in the 2023 contest season. After receiving strong criticism from the judges for his conditioning, and lack of depth and detail from the back following last year’s Olympia debut, Krizo and his team went to work in the offseason, adding in one additional training session for back each week, in addition to making strategic adjustments to his diet, in an effort to help him bridge the gap.

Those efforts appeared to have paid off in spades when he made his season debut earlier this at the Empro Classic, where he showcased the best conditioning of his career, along with noticeable improvements to his entire physique, especially from the back, as he cruised to a dominant win in a lineup that featured Andrea Presti and Roman Fritz, both of whom are Olympia qualified athletes that he’ll presumably face when he steps onstage for this year’s contest the weekend of November 2.

Since his win at the Empro Classic, Krizo and his team have doubled down on their efforts to improve his back detail, and overall conditioning, as he attempts to continue his ascent up the Olympia ladder. Perhaps fortuitously, the absence of Big Ramy and Iain Valliere (retired) from this year’s lineup presents a golden opportunity for him to void left by their absence inside the top ten, where his combination of size and conditioning could make him an outlier in a group that’s largely occupied by smaller athletes who he could potentially dwarf in comparison if he can land a spot in the first few callouts.
