Ok let me start out by saying that DanaLinn Bailey has been an AMAZING ambassador for the division and the IFBB. You couldn't ask for a classier, more beautiful, and more driven athlete than her. However, I didn't think she had the best physique la
st year. I thought she was a shoe-in for Top 5, but not Top 3, and certainly not 1st place. That being said, she is the reigning champion, and as with any incumbent Olympian, you don't beat one to win - it has to be a TKO. Defending the title (usually) means the champion gets a certain degree of leniency, but not always. Some notable exceptions include Frank Zane in 1980 and Dexter Jackson in 2009.

But lets not get carried away. What we will see is Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Big Ramy, Phil Heath, Shawn Rhoden and Branch Warren posing their guts out. And who could ask for anything more? Let the games begin!!

After his big win in Rio, Steve Kuclo is now qualified for the 2014 Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 18-21. In the race to qualify through the points system, Victor Martinez is still in the lead with nine points followed closely by Evan Centopani and Jonathan Delarosa who each hold eight points.
Delarosa vaulted into his tie for second after placing third at the Arnold Classic Brazil behind winner Kuclo and runner up Juan Morel who now sits in eighth place with five points.
