Daily Supplement Routine for Joint and Connective Tissue Health

supplementPlanIf you listened to PHYSIQUE STAR RADIO last week with Ian Lauer and myself on 11-13-14 you now fully understand the importance of connective tissue and joint health in your training endeavors.  With that new found knowledge, you should be intrigued and chomping at the bit for a supplement routine designed to optimize both.  Well, wait no longer!  Here’s a sample daily routine to improve your joint and connective tissue health.

First thing upon waking, have a glass of water to flush out your stomach acid. We are our most acidic first thing in the morning.

Then take the following supplements with a glass of non-acidic juice (suggestions: papaya, mango, grape, apple, etc. No orange, pineapple, or grapefruit).

6 – Lysine (4000mg) (If taking 500mg capsules, take 8; if taking 750mg capsules, take 6)

2 – PROLINE (1000mg)

2 – Glucosamine Sulphate (1500-2000mg)

1 – MSM (1000mg)

2 – B-Complex (capsule)

2 – Vitamin C (1000-2000mg)

1 – Cognitive Nutrition (DMAE 300mg) optional for cognitive health

The reason I recommend juice is that these nutrients’ molecular weight is so small they need a sugar molecule to latch onto to carry them into the bloodstream.

Wait 30 minutes before eating after taking this morning pack.

In the evening, repeat the morning routine then take the following with a glass of non-acidic juice.

Window is between 7-9 p.m. and at least 30 minutes before eating if you are having dinner.
