What do you feel is the WORST part of contest prep? The worst part goes hand in hand with the best part for me, its peak week! The diet is the most restricted, but it's also that final countdown to the stage which is exciting!

Would you please tell us a little about your workout schedule? I pay pretty close attention to my body so it changes frequently. Right now I'm training back and shoulders 2x per week, bi’s and tri’s once a week and legs and glutes 2x per week, one day a week I do all plyometric workouts. I try and train 3 days on and one day off, and every day I start with cardio.

If you had to lose one of your 5 senses, which one would you prefer to lose and why?
Wow, that is hard! I'm gonna have to think for a second, I really try and take nothing for granted and my senses help me do that! … If I absolutely HAD to, I guess I would lose smell?... So many pleasant smells… and it works hand in hand with taste…. If I think to long I'll change my mind…

If you could change one thing about this sport what would it be? I have really fallen in love with this sport, but I think if I could change anything it would be the sportsmanship. I suppose that it would be the same in any sport, but it can create a negativity back stage that is unnessary. Every athlete worked hard to be where he or she is at so everyone deserves respect and congratulations.

If you had a time capsule what would you put inside it and why? I would put a 20 dollar bill, my favorite shoes, Time magazine, Fortune 500, and a history book. Just to see how little if anything a 20 dollar bill is worth, and actual documentation of what was going on in our time socially, economically and politically. The shoes, to see if they have rotated themselves back into style and the history book to see how it has changed and been reinterpreted.

What is your favorite vacation spot? I LOVE vacationing! It depends on what I'm in the mood for… I really like adventure and make it a point to visit someplace new every year. My fiancé and I always love visiting the Islands and we have a blast in Vegas every year. This year I went to Vegas twice and I visited LA, California for the first time. Next year I'm going somewhere more exotic. We are planning a trip to Figi in the summer.

What advice do you have for women who would like to get involved in and compete in the sport of bodybuilding? Do it! It can be done at any age will be more personally rewarding than you can imagine. You will put your mind and body through a lo,t but no more than it can handle. If you are ever “thinking” about trying something, I say what are you waiting for? You won’t get tomorrow back so tackle a goal starting today.

What is a day-in-the-life of Aimee like? AM cardio,  work at one of my business, home to take care and spend time with my two pups, Miko my American bulldog, and Zoey our rescue foster dog that is looking to be our next addition to the family. Back to the gym to lift if I didn’t get done in the morning and then home to catch up on computer work or perhaps just veg out with my hubby to be.

Favorite Motivational Quote:

Learn from and don’t regret your past,  cherish and live in your today.

It's how I live my life as to not take anything or moment for granted or waste it.

In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to? I have to say my biggest shout out goes to my biggest supporter and number  one fan. My fiancé has been a great source of strength and motivation for me, more than I'm really even able to express. I also must include my Gym, Powerhouse Downtown Tampa. They are so supportive and encouraging to competitors and all there members. It is such a motivational place to workout, I'm lucky to live so close to it.
