IFBB Bikini Pro Vanessa’s Fit and Fab Lifestyle-Blog #12

Hi Everyone, I hope you had a great week :DBlog Tennis

As for me this week has been AWESOME!! I am back in the swing of my training, since I took some time off, and my body is responding nicely. I love noticing the changes I make in my body once I start back on my competition mode. It is so empowering. I am currently building up my shoulders, lats, and glutes. The workouts are so good I almost feel like the “tin-man” the next day. Lol. I’m still waiting to see more change in my glutes, but to build up that muscle may take a little more time. Squat rack here I come ;)

As many of you know I am also a personal trainer and with that job comes a plethora of different tecBlog Expendableshniques needed to motivate clients. One of my clients is doing very well, but is not too keen on doing cardio. So I decided to mix it up with her last Saturday and play some Tennis. She loved it! She was more than happy to run around in our match. I guess some times you have to think outside of the box or gym for that mater to get the desired results. Whatever works, right.

Highlight of my week was stopping by Lululemon in Santa Barbara. I love lulu workout pants. They are the only pants that don’t do funny things when I workout. There is nothing worse than running or doing interval training and every few minutes having to pull up your “spandex pants”. Ummm, NOT OK! Also, lulu pants are great when you are in the gym because they give in all the right areas, if you now what I mean :) Lulu rocks! Now if they would sponsor me so I could stop spending my paychecks there. Lol.

My husband and I were also able to go and see The Expendables 2 movie. It is now playing and it is all action with some comedy spliced in between. It is crazy to see so many “action/hero” actors all together and how they have all aged. The credits read like a laundry list of past action movies. My husband really liked it, but it had a few continuity and computer graphic issues for me. All in all, it was a good time at the movies.
