Date of birth: April, 2 1973

If you could change into a superhero for a day who would you be and why?
She-Ra (Masters of the Universe) because she is pretty, very powerful, acrobatic, non-violent, super-fast, and has the sword of protection! All the powers that I need to compete lol.

What made you begin dedicating your lifestyle to this sport?
I’ve always been interested in sports…..I practice Karate Do Shotokan, Tennis, Golf, Squash. When I was 18 I did a Pepsi TV AD and at that time I started to train seriously, lifting weights and cardio. My father was my best friend and my inspiration to compete because he was an amazing athlete, but unfortunately he died and I miss him every day.  A healthy life style has been a constant in my life and extremely important for me. I started to understand the positive relationship between food and exercise when I started competing. June 2011 I started with the Bombshell Team. My coach and friend IFBB Pro Shannon Dey is a very important person in my life because she helps me every day with her advice and guidelines to be a professional athlete. I love and I feel all the passion for my sport!

What approach do you take to dieting...carb cycle..keto?
I try to eat healthy everyday all year around. I don´t do cycles but I change my diet every 4 weeks. The carbs, protein and healthy oils change but I try to eat different types of food to have all the antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients per day. I enjoy eating healthy, but also I have one free meal per week. I eat lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and good carbs like oats and brown rice. I never cut carbs, my coach Shannon Dey helps me with my goals to be on stage. I did the keto diet 10 years ago and it worked.

What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about competing?
Everybody wants to live healthy, so I think that people admire the dedication and also want to learn the way to diet, training etc…BUT people think that exercise is more important than diet, and that diet is not necessary to be lean! Wrong!!! Also I think that some people believe that a miracle pill can do all the work and is impossible to see results without dedication and discipline!

70 % is the diet and 30% is the training. but many people think that is very easy! But 6822 132225091337 682681337 2995148 5218423 nit's not easy, it is a science! The diet that I do is just for me and for sure will not work for you. The way to train is individual, slow, fast, rep numbers, heavy etc.

What is your most embarrassing childhood memory?
Lol, when I was a child I wanted to be a rock star! Yes!! I remember when I tried to sing in public and OMG …lol

What is the biggest lesson you have learned about YOURSELF during your contest prep?
The biggest lesson for me is that you can change your physique or your life if you want! Sometimes it's not easy, sometimes you feel that it's impossible, but if you really feel the passion to do it you have to focus on your goal. The preparation for competing is the same as life. You start with a dream and you have to work hard to develop your dreams. Also I learned that food is most important! You can´t see any change if you don´t eat clean. The good combination and balance is the key!!!

Who do you look up and admire and why?
I admire my father because he was a pure honest person and he did everything with passion. Also my beautiful mother, who dedicates her life to helping my brother and me to become better people every day. My mother is my best girlfriend.

In the IFBB language I admire my beautiful coach IFBB Shannon Dey because she is a generous person and she inspires and pushes me to be better and better.
