Date of birth: June 11th, 1985

Hometown: St. Louis, Mo

Career: Massage Therapist

How does your family respond to your competing? My husband Justin and twin sister Leah have both competed before, so they know what the process is all about, and what sacrifices you have to make to be successful :) However, the rest of our family do their best to support and try to understand why we do what we do.

What kind of goals have you set for yourself, short-term and long-term? One of my current goals is to get my ACSM Personal Training Certification. I currently work as a Massage Therapist at The Fitness Edge STL. This club is strictly a Personal Training studio and I would like to make myself a little more versatile at work! I absolutely love my job!

My current long term goal is to get that IFBB Pro card!!!!! I received my WNBF Pro card at my 1st show, the INBF Missouri ALL Naturals… but my coach and I decided to turn it down to compete in the NPC for more exposure, and opportunities!

W2U7G0011hat's currently on your iPod? You can find a little bit of everything on my Ipod! Anything from Rhianna, to Five Finger Death Punch, Metallica, Evanescence… the list goes on!!!

What are your hobbies and interests outside of the bodybuilding world? I have been trying to broaden my horizons on cooking.. "normal" cooking lol! When you are in contest prep mode, you are so used to eating the same foods everyday that you almost forget how to make real meals! One of my current accomplishments was homemade chicken noodle soup! Yum!!!!

Do you have a favorite exercise? My favorite body part to train is LEGS!!!!! So when I hit the gym I like to incorporate some style of good mornings! Whether it's with a barbell, on a Smith machine, or holding a plate. In my opinion, they are a must when working that Glute/Ham tie in!!!! Shows are said to be won from the back ;)

Competition history:

2010 INBF Missouri All Naturals- 1st in Class, 1st Overall Figure! (Earned WNBF Pro card)

2010 NPC Midwest Novice Classic- 1st in class, 1st Overall Figure!

2011 NPC Muscle Mayhem- 1st Class A, 2nd Overall Figure!

2011 NPC Jr. Nationals- 8th place Figure Class A..

2011 IFBB North American- 2nd place Figure Class A!

I still need to talk with my coach Kit Kitson to solidify my 2012 competition schedule :) I do have an interest in doing the 2012 Jr. USA's in May.. If not then the 2012 Team Universe in July, or possibly the 2012 IFBB North Americans. No matter what show I pick, the goal of 2012 is to get that IFBB Pro card!!! :)

Favorite Fitness Tip: Switch things up!!! Don't be afraid to try something out of the box with a workout, or simply just change the scenery! Go to the track for cardio instead of doing indoor cardio, or simply workout at another gym!! I have two gyms that I workout in. The Fitness Edge, and Gold's Gym down the street from my house. When I am getting bored... I go to one of these gyms more during a given week, plus they both have some different equipment to use.

Who would you like to thank? First of all, thank you Rxmuscle for putting me in the spotlight :) I would like to thank my husband Justin 1st and foremost. He has supported my competition journey ever since the beginning. Even when he was overseas in Iraq for my 1st 2 shows, he always encouraged me to keep reaching for my goals. I would also like to thank my wonderful coach, Kit Kitson from In Shape Nutrition. He has never steered me wrong and continues to keep my eye on the prize! Lastly my family and partner in crime (twin sister) Leah Dattilo! Leah also competes on the National level in the bikini division! We have done most all of our shows together and will continue to do so in the near future! It is soo much fun to share the same passion with the ones you love and know you have unconditional support! I would like to thank my new suit sponsor Tamee Marie for her generous 2012 opportunity
