Stephanie Willes Walks Into The Pro Ranks: Vegas Fun: Blog #5

Hello Bodybuilding World! Well with the NPC photo 1 (2)USA’s wrapping up and some photo shoots knocked out, I can say it has been one heck of a weekend!

Working the Quest Booth was quite fun and I was able to meet so many wonderful people. If you have yet to try a Quest Bar you are definitely missing out on a yummy healthy treat. No need to feel guilty because these bars have limited ingredients and are very healthy for you. Most competitors can eat these during their prep (for a period of time anyway). They are doing so well that they have moved up to being the #2 rated protein bar in the country and are going to start to be distributed throughout the Whole Foods Grocery Stores nationwide. I hope to continue a working relationship with Quest Nutrition in the future and get to know more amazing people along the way.  Then came Sunday, where I woke up with a sore throat and feeling kind of sluggish. I trained legs anyway and got in an hour of cardio on the step mill. I also had the privilege of working out with an inspiring, motivating, and lovely lady, Sarah Hurrle.  It was a great gym session with her and incredible that one year ago we were in that very gym, only I wasn’t a pro and she was teaching me how to pose at the NPC Physique Seminar. Thank you Sarah for all that you have done for me.:)

Today is Monday and I still feel funky with a sore throat and a bit of a cough. I still got up and did an hour of cardio on the spin bike, then got ready and jetted up to Red Rock to shoot with my boys, Dan Ray, Lou Krivda and Jeff Binns. It was a great morning with lots of flexing, sweating and great images. It’s always a pleasure working with these guys. If you ever get a chance you definitely should shoot with them. So today is all about rest and taking it easy. So that’s kind of my plan for the week so that I don’t feel like total crap the week before the show. Hopefully I can be better by then. As long as I can eat and train I will be good to go!!!  So with lesphoto 2 (2)s than two weeks left before my Pro Debut I can say that I’m excited and ready as ever to be on a Pro stage and show up looking better than I ever have before.

Have a great week all!!!

Xoxo
