CRISPY CURRIED COCONUT SHRIMP with GINGER SOY SAUCE

CRISPY CURRIED COCONUT SHRIMP Cryspy curried coconut shrimps by Chef Emmanuel Delcourwith GINGER SOY SAUCE.

The
creation of this delicious crispy goodness was inspired from my Love
for Shrimp tempura that I often eat in the best Japanese restaurants in
L.A., unfortunately those don’t fit a strict fitness Diet like mine ,
the ones I created do !!

The
technique I use is recreating perfectly the texture of deep fried
tempura, but is oven-baked so it’s simple to use, low fat, and delicious

Berry Good Colossal Calorie Recovery Shake

Immediately following the completion of IMG_1334your workout(within 20-30mins) it's very important to provide your body with the proper nutrients for the recovery process. You need a fast digesting protein source like whey and some simple sugars such as fruit to help your body transition from a catabolic state(breaking down muscle), into an anabolic state(building or repairing muscle). This is a great higher calorie post-workout shake for individuals that are in the process of trying to add size.

Get LEANER by eating GREENER

In order to stay lean AND extremely healthy all year round, photo (4)it is important to eat lots and LOTS of greens and incorporate as many different varieties as possible. I include at least one salad into my daily routine, which includes a lot of veggies mixed in. Always make sure to use Romaine lettuce or spinach as opposed to iceberg lettuce, which has no nutritional value whatsoever. I will literally throw everything into a salad to make it burst with flavor. Some of my favorite things to include are cucumbers, mushrooms, grape tomatoes and some type of pepper (red, green, yellow or orange). Also, I often include some healthy fats such as walnuts or avocado. And instead of using a store bought dressing…make your own! I find if you have a solid high powered blender you can easily create any combination that is right for you! Personally, I enjoy a blend of cashews and oranges (3 oranges to about ¾ cup cashews) or peanuts and oranges. Blend these together and bam! Your own dressing or dip…and 2 ingredients so you KNOW exactly what kind of nutrition you are getting. Great vitamins and monounsaturated fats right there!

-Water flushes out the by-products of fat breakdown and toxins from the body. 3 Meals Won't Cut It or YOUR WAIST

When I was growing up the only meals I can ever remember eating(excluding snacks) were the core Three; Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. That was the norm you would typically eat three times a day and maybe a few snacks in between. Nobody ever really questioned it or even thought about changing it. Well what our parents didn't know is that this is not the most efficient means to take in our daily nutrients. When you really sit back and put some serious thought into it  you can easily see the faults this type of eating schedule brings.

And if you have a sweet tooth, here is a great recipe to try out and also chalked full of healthy fats, fiber and protein, not to mention lots of vitamins and antioxidants.
