What a start it’s been for Rx Muscle Australia and the 2013 bodybuilding season. It all kicked off with the 2013 FitX Sports & Fitness Expo which included the 2013 IFBB Australian Pro & 2013 IFBB Amateur GP/Pro Qualifier. The Pro Qualifier was heavily anticipated and it certainly lived up to the hype. It was dubbed by many as a battle between the big 3 Scott Goble, Luke Schembri & Gary Wright, but no one counted on David Cutler challenging, if it wasn't for an all-time best Luke Schembri he’d now be an IFBB Pro.
This is the first of many blogs that I'll (Xavier Wills, Rx Muscle Australia Editor in Chief) be writing for Rx Muscle Australia courtesy of my terrific gym sponsor "24/7 Power Fitness Wanneroo". These blogs may be associated with personal bodybuilding/life updates, my view on industry news, diet/training information, video blogs, pictures, and really anything that I want to vent about or discuss.
As we're currently in the midst of the 2012 London Summer Olympic games, I couldn't help but to think why the sport I love, bodybuilding in the Olympics, when it seems like it would almost be perfectly suited? Well there are several reasons for this one including whether or not bodybuilding is really a sport. We'll go back a little way and analyse how this may or may not happen in the future and check in with the IFBB's current status with the International Olympic Committee.
Rx Muscle Australia are excited to announce a new way we'll be bringing you, the bodybuilding fans out there the latest and greatest, not only from Australian Bodybuilding, but also news and content from the world of Bodybuilding.
