The Aussie's are in for the 2013 Australian Pro GP/Fit X

Aussie are in fit x 2013 expo australian pro ifbb ivan sadek mike kefalianos luke timmsAustralian Bodybuilding fans are sometimes a little let down or disappointed by the lack of Australian's that are willing to compete in the Australian Pro Grand Prix which is now the 3rd longest run IFBB Pro Show in the world only behind the Olympia & Arnold Classic contests. I'm excited to say Australian fans won't be disappointed this year with 3 top Australians planning to compete after making it publicly known through either Facebook or training videos.

There are 3 big Aussie names commited to the show, they are.... Michael Kefalianos, Ivan Sadek & Luke Timms.

Michael KefalianosMike Kefalianos announced in an Rx Muscle training video after the 2012 Masters Olympia that he'll be competing in not only the Australian Pro Grand Prix in 2013 but also the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio a week earlier then in late April he'll be doing the Arnold Classic Brazil which is a new show for 2013. It seems Mike will continue on his ways as being one of the most competing and consistent IFBB Pro's.

*Note: Mike placed 2nd to Branch Warren in last years Australian Pro Grand Prix where he received a "special qualification" for the Mr Olympia after rule changes mid year, they decided the 2nd place finisher for that show would recieve a qualification.

Ivan Sadek IFBB Australian Pro 2013 facebookIvan Sadek a man who placed just behind Mike at the 2009 Australian Pro GP, where he only marginally missed out on his Olympia qualification that year as the top 3 had already qualified therefor with the rulings back then, the qualification went to the 4th place finisher which was Mike. Ivan then competed the next year at the 2010 Pro show where he was noticeably softer than the year prior and his placings suffered for it.

We have now not seen Ivan in 3 years so I'm sure Australian fans will be excited to see what Ivan can bring in terms of condition as he certainly has the muscle to hang with the "big boys".

Luke Timms IFBB Australian Pro facebook2011 Pro Qualifier winner Luke Timms has now competed in the 2011 & 2012 Australian Pro shows and he even ventured to Europe to compete in 2012. Last year Luke took another huge step in size after winning his pro card the year prior without losing his stellar conditioning which we have come accustom to seeing from him. Luke last year climbed 3 spots from 8th in 2011 to 5th in 2012 at the Australian Grand Prix, if Luke can go higher than last year, you'd have to imagine he'd be stocked, as this years lineup is becoming harder by the signing with Toney Freeman, Ed Nunn & Jeff Long already signed along with the other Aussie's Mike and Ivan.

4th Aussie? That's right! Once again Fit X will hold the Pro Qualifier where one Australian amateur will turn Pro and go on to compete in the Pro Show that same day! But who will this be? Luke Schembri, Scott Goble, Gary Wright, David Cutler, or one of the other contenders? With this sort of a lineup I believe the winner here has the potential to knock off a few names in the pro show, perhaps not place top 5 but they may go close!
