Date of birth: 12/03/1968

Hometown: Houston, Texas

Career: In my professional career I am a Sales Professional since 1996. Coca-Cola Bottling Company 14 years, Office Depot 1 year, American Home Patient 1 yr, and currently CEMEX.

How does your family respond to your competing? I have two adult children 23 & 19 years of age, divorced 17 years. My children are very receptive of my passion of fitness and competing. I have been a certified PT, Group Instructor, Kickboxing Instructor, BodyPump Instructor, Aquatics Instructor, R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor, and Group Fitness Instructor. My children have witnessed and been a part of my 16 plus years of instructing and facilitating various genres of fitness classes.

What kind of goals have you set for yourself, short-term and long-term? In my competition career, my short-term goal is to achieve my Pro Card in Women’s Physique. My long-term goal is to qualify for Olympia 2015. I enjoy inspiring other women in particular to be healthy and fit, as this is the fountain of youth.

What's currently on your iPod? I typically use Pandora whenever I am working out. It depends on if I am doing cardio, or weight training. When I am doing cardio I have a variety of music that I have ordered over the years of teaching classes by John Sines (a mixer of workout music). When I am lifting weights I generally like to listen to hard core rock mu1475975 451964804926942 371637649 n[1]sic or rap music.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of the bodybuilding world? To be honest, my life is very basic. I love outdoor activities such as bike riding, walking/jogging trails, reading, and volunteering for various events.

Do you have a favorite exercise? I really loved teaching BodyPump, Step Aerobics, and boot camp (outdoors).

Competition history: I have competed a total of 5 times. My first competition was in Bikini in an organization that is no longer in Business (REAL). My remainder of competitions were in Musclemania and NPC and I competed in Women’s Figure Open/Masters 35+ category.

Next competition: My next competition is in Women’s Physique which will be on March 15, 2014, Houston, Texas (Phil Heath Classic).

Favorite Fitness Tip: My 1525149 468026683320754 734421904 n[1]fitness tip would be to train hard, eat clean, have confidence, and practice, practice, practice!

Who would you like to thank? I am a part of a Fitness Team named (ODF) Operation Doctor Frankenstein, Todd Rogers, CEO/Founder. Working with Todd Rogers has really helped me love this sport as well as how to get my body at 45 years old, in peak condition. I am confident that I can stand side by side with another female that is 20 years younger and give her a run for it. So I owe my gratitude and thanks to Todd Rogers who saw greatness in me from the beginning.
