Hey Everyone!
Wow! So yeah, it has been awhile since I made a blog. March was obviously an awesome month! I turned 30, placed 3rd in the Figure International, and also competed in the Bros vs Pros event in St Louis. Placing 3rd at the Arnold was my goal, so I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!!! My next show is the Orlando Europa at the end of April, which is just shy of 3 weeks. It is right here in my backyard so I am pretty excited for all my friends and family to come and cheer me on.

Happy Easter Everyone! I’m taking a few moments to write this blog while visiting my family during a 32 hour visit to the Tri-State area (NJ, PA & De). I’ve heard many times this weekend, “I don’t know how you do it; your always on the go.” Well I’ve learned from making these quick trips over the last 2 years to not overcommit. I prioritize the things I need to get done, want to get done, and if time allows would like to get done.

I hope you have had a great week so far and are feeling strong and motivated in the gym! The spring is a great time of year to start getting outside and change up your training activities. Personally I plan on doing some hill runs just up the street from my place, and also hitting up the ocean side board walk for some invigorating "sea salt air" cardio :-)

Hi,this is Karina Nascimento and I wanted to thank you all for your support.
I just got through winning the first IFBB Women’s Physique Show at the Desert Muscle Classic in Arizona. I hope to bring an even better physique to the IFBB PRO GRAND PRIX in Culver City, California. The challenge is on for me. I have three children under the age of 8 and my husband travels a lot. Competing is my passion and the fact is there’s no easy way to do what we do. I don’t think that my diet is notably different than most competitors’ because it consists of oats, eggs, and chicken with asparagus, turkey, broccoli, yogurt, peanut butter, a scoop of protein, fish and salad.

Welcome to my bi-weekly blog! When I was approached about doing a blog my first thought was do I have time in my busy life. My second thought was it is a great opportunity to reach out to more people, let them know how I balance my life and help others find ways to balance theirs and lead a more fulfilling life.
