Kyle
Vatterott moved from a small country town in Missouri to the West Coast in hopes of promoting the many benefits of physical fitness in any way he can. He is very new to the jungle that is the fitness world as he just turned 20 years old. As a high school athlete that played and excelled at 5 different sports (soccer, basketball, wrestling, baseball and football) the "hunger" to continue to progress at anything is apparent. Kyle always enjoyed sports but it was evident that his real passion was in weight training. Eager to use his body and his knowledge to inspire others, Kyle packed his bags and left for sunny Santa Monica, California.
He is currently taking two acting classes at UCLA to not only equip himself with a better presence to speak to audiences about fitness (if the time comes) but also in hopes to break into the entertainment industry, using his body and charisma as his biggest asset. Kyle began his ACE certification while working for GNC in March 2011. The knowledge of supplements he acquired during his time at GNC has been a big contributor to his success as an athlete and as a trainer. Kyle believes a certain "style" of training that he refers to as "gritty" and often times "primitive" has faded away with the invention of machines that seem to "take the work out of work", as he says.
With old school attitude and approach to training, Kyle believes he can bring back that brand of intensity through his fitness articles, his own body image, and his training. Kyle wants to use knowledge and physique he's achieved at such a young age as an example of something he preaches often, "hard work always pays."
