Career: Sales Executive at ProBen Inc. - National Financial Partners. ProBen is a Health, Life and Retirement brokerage firm. We help medium and large companies with benefits, retirement and wellness.

Sports background: Ever since I was a child I was very active. I was on a basketball team since age of six and joined the National women’s basketball team at age of sixteen. When I entered the Komenskeho University in Bratislava, Slovakia and majored in Physical Training and Cartography. It was then that I gave up basketball and found my new passion in fitness. I guess it all started when I was working at front desk of one of the largest gyms in Slovakia- Golem.

Why NPC: I was introduced to the NPC by friend but I never thought I would compete. I went through some rough personal times and I decided I needed to challenge myself. Being part of a great team like the Knockouts and having amazing and supportive coach and mentor Michelle Johnson has helped me in many ways. I can’t be more grateful for how far I have come and how much I have grown and learned as person. Competing brought a lot of new friends, fun and joy into my life.

JNF-nadia-fullrez--4-22What do you like best about competing? This might sound funny; but, I love the whole contest prep process starting with initial hard work all the way until the very end. It works well with me because I love to challenge and push myself. What I think I really enjoy the most though are the last steps prior to show. I love the shopping for right swim suit, jewelry, choosing the right hair style and deciding on my make-up look. My schedule is packed during prep. I wake up every day at 5 AM and start my day with cardio followed by my regular job and evening weight training.

Competition history: My first show was Shawn Ray in Baltimore in 2012, MD where I placed 1st overall. I took some time off afterwards and followed the recommendations of judges and my coach to focus on building muscle to be able to place well at Nationals. Since I am 5’11” tall you can imagine how much time, effort and discipline it takes. I entered my second show in March 2014 and placed 1st in D class.

Next competition: My biggest show is coming up on July 4th and July 5th- National NPC Team Universe followed by NPC USA’s in Las Vegas on July 25th and 26th. I am very excited!

N8A9277 smallCompetitors you look up to: I admire Nathalia Melo and my role model without any doubt is my coach Michelle Johnson.

Favorite cheat food: It is very hard to think of just one! I would say my biggest challenge is that I have a sweet tooth. With that being said, I have to go with warm German chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top.

Favorite diet food: Rice cakes with almond butter.

Favorite body part to train: I love to train Abs. I think it is so sexy to have nice and flat stomach.

Least favorite body part to train: I don’t have one.

Hobbies: My favorite activities except working out would be modeling (print work), any type of outdoors activities, scuba diving, skiing or just laying on the beach. I absolutely love to travel, cook and like every woman I love to shop.

Words to live by: To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible.
