Muscle Gossip #3 with the Yuckmouth Yenta!

Milos Sarcev _06UPDATE ON THE MILOS SARCEV ARREST: (as originally reported on Rx Muscle): (http://www.rxmuscle.com/articles/latest-news/1670-milos-sarcev-arrested-for-felony-robery.html)

Milos explained to me that the police arrived at his Koloseum  Gym and asked him to voluntarily leave since the gym was in foreclosure for failure to pay rent. Milos refused so the police arrested him for robbery and trespassing (since, technically, he no longer owned the gym).  According to Sarcev, he was released without bail.

Is Silvio SaSilvioSameulmuel sick? No, says Silvio. Apparently, he was having chest pains after doing an weight training session one day, and he was concerned enough to go to the emergency room. After multiple tests were performed, the doctors informed Silvio that he had an enlarged heart (big surprise there) and they prescribed ibuprofen for the pain. Unbeknownst to both Silvio and the doctors, he was allergic to ibuprofen and had a severe anaphylactic reaction, putting him back into the hospital. This time, the doctors kept him for three days to thoroughly investigate his situation. So why hasn't he gotten back onstage if his health is fine? Silvio says he lost both of his sponsorship contracts and doesn't have the finances to compete right now, but he's staying in shape and is ready to get back onstage as soon as he's financially able. It seems like a lot of top guys are currently without sponsors... What's up with that?

Recently I saw a photo of a very ripped Fouad Abiad. I contacted him to see if he was dieting for a show. This was his response:Fouad

"No I wish I was competing Aaron. I am just cutting down for a few appearances. At the end of July I am shutting down the appearances and bulking back up! Thanks for the compliments."

This week on Dennis James' and Melvin Anthony's  radio show, Melvin says Fouad told him he will, in fact, compete in a summer show.  I can only wonder why Fouad was holding back on me?  Personally, I'm glad we will see Abiad back in competitive action.

Problems in Great Britain with the British Grand Prix? I've been hearing rumblings about possible problems with the newly brandished IFBB British Grand Prix. I'm planning on attending this show in 2011 so I felt it my oBritishGrandPrixbligation to find out what kind of monkey business was going in over in the UK!  I got in touch with past radio guest and friend, Giles Thomas, who is co-promoting the event with Zack

Khan and Neil Hill. He told me the people who run the Bodypower Expo at the NEC in Birmingham have stopped them from being able to use the ICC (The UK's premier conference center)... claiming a conflict of interest.  Now, since the ICC was the contest venue that was supposed to house the IFBB British Grand Prix, a huge problem now exists.  They need to find a few venue.  It seems that Giles, Neil, and Zack have already run into quite a few problems making this show a reality. Hopefully, they will overcome this latest setback and will be able to bring pro bodybuilding back to the Great Britain, once again, in 2011.
