No need to look though the play-by-play thread. Here are Dave's thoughts on the 212 prejudging.
MENS 212 BODYBUILDING
AARON CLARK: shredded……… but a little flat. Very well balanced. Grainy hard…. Conditioning is there…….. but not everything popping the way I’ve seen. But this is still a top 4 look.
EDUARDO CORREA: peeled to the bone. Super shredded… so much detail to his physique. Great back double……..a little flat……. He’s got insane nutty muscle separation. Will be a battle with JOSE RAYMOND!
CHARLES DIXON: super thick quads. Great side leg. ….. Insane striated glutes…….back double is nutty…. Best he’s been. He’s muscle from head to toe. And crazy conditioning. Will be very very tough
SHAWN TAVERNIER: freaky legs. Super thick and dense muscle ……..short. Striated pecs.. striated glutes. Nice back double. Top 5 for sure. Striated quads.
CORY MATHEWS: thick pecs, delts, arms. Great side chest. Legs are still a little behind upper body. Glutes can be tighter. …….hams are ripped. Huge wide back. Good muscle shots.
JOSE RAYMOND: 3rd at Olympia. Shredded……from head to toe……….super thick…. Best he’s been. Crazy striated glutes…. Nasty back double. Great muscle shots. Will be tough to beat!
MARCO RIVERA: fantastic legs.. lower back can be tighter .glutes are striated. Great tan. Lacking sharpness……
ANGEL VARGAS: lots of dense muscle. Freaky side leg. Thick striated pecs. Just doesn’t flow as well as some of the other top guys. Glutes can be tighter.
HIDE YAMAGISHI: much fuller… legs look good. Good coloring. Striated pecs. Glutes striated …. Good back double. Back lat spread is strong. This is pretty close to HIDE’s best at 212lb.. Would he look better fuller? Yes, but remember, he can only weigh 212.

****JOSE RAYMOND (most muscle; best conditioning, best poser........case closed) winds up in middle (1st), CORREA (structurally the best in the lineup) 2nd, HIDE YAMAGISHI (impressive appearance for him) 3rd, CHARLES DIXON 4th, CLARK 5th (legs looked very flat)
